The short version
Aspire is built for large ecommerce brands with an annual budget and an affiliate programme to run. Herd is built for UK brands and agencies who want a published price, a live demo before they commit, and the creator working alongside them on the same record. If you need affiliate attribution at scale, Aspire is the right call and we are not.
Aspire is run from San Francisco, US. It suits larger ecommerce brands with an annual budget, a dedicated influencer team and a need for affiliate attribution at scale.
Herd is a UK product with three sides in one account. Creators run content, deals, contracts and invoices. Brands run campaigns, review content and pay creator invoices by card. Agencies run a roster with commission splits and white-label client portals. Herd costs £999/month for brands, billed in pounds. That breadth is the whole trade: Herd covers more of the week, and in a few places it covers it less thoroughly than Aspire does.
Feature by feature
Every line in the Herd column is a feature that works today. The Aspire column is what its own site and the listings we read showed on 21 September 2026: a dash means we could not find the feature there, and a plan name in the Herd column is the plan the feature starts on.

Where Aspire is stronger
Nothing below is a concession for the sake of looking fair. These are the parts of Aspire that Herd either does not have or does less well, and if one of them is the deciding factor for you, buy Aspire.
- Established with large ecommerce brands, rated 4.8 on G2 across more than 120 reviews when we checked on 21 September 2026.
- Affiliate and ambassador programme tooling that Herd does not have.
- Creator discovery at a scale Herd does not attempt for brands.
- Content rights management and a creator marketplace.
What Herd adds
The other direction. These are jobs Herd covers that we could not find in Aspire's published feature list when we checked on 21 September 2026, taken from the same list as the table above, plus the differences in how the two are priced. Some of them sit on the higher Herd plans, and the pricing below says which.
- Quote-only pricing with an annual commitment, so you cannot see the cost before a sales call.
- No creator-facing product, so creators do not have their own account with you.
- No agency roster, commission split or payout model.
- No Gmail or Outlook inbox and no in-app video meetings.
- No GBP pricing.
Pricing side by side
Pricing is quote-only with no published tiers, and third-party listings put it at roughly $2,000 a month on an annual contract with no free trial. Aspire does not publish those figures in a form we could read directly, so they come from a third-party listing, last checked on 21 September 2026. Herd is priced in pounds and costs £999/month for brands, with 17% off when you pay for the year and a 14-day cooling-off period on every paid plan.

Campaigns
One campaign record both sides can see
A Herd campaign holds the brief, the creators, the deliverables and the dates, and the creator is looking at the same record from their own account. That is the part a discovery tool cannot do, because the creator is not in it.
- Briefs, creator invitations, deliverables and deadlines on one campaign.
- Content review with real statuses, instead of approvals buried in a reply-all thread.
- The creator answers inside the campaign, then invoices you through it.
Herd and Aspire, asked and answered
- Aspire does not publish prices. Third-party listings put it at roughly $2,000 a month on an annual contract. Herd Brand is £999 a month and Herd Agency is £1,999 a month, both listed on the website.
- For a mid-sized UK brand, often yes, and at a known price with a live demo before you commit. For a large ecommerce brand running affiliate attribution at scale, no. Herd has no affiliate tracking.
- Creators respond to campaigns but do not get a business account of their own. On Herd the creator has their own pipeline, invoices, media kit and inbox, and you are both looking at the same deal.
- There is no free trial listed, and the price is on quote. Herd does not offer a free trial either, but Herd Brand and Herd Agency have published prices, you can book a live demo before you commit, and paid plans have a 14-day cooling-off period.
