For creators
Build recurring income from your audience.
Herd is a creator business platform from a UK company. Publishing to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and X. A deals pipeline with the brand conversation attached. Proposals, contracts and video meetings. A live media kit at herduk.co.uk/yourname. Invoices a brand pays by card, with the money settling into your own bank account.
Free plan, no card. Starter is £99 a month, Pro is £299, and annual billing takes 17% off.

A week in Herd
Monday to the following Tuesday, one brand deal
Maya Chen is made up. The week is not: every step below is something the product does today, named the way it is named in the app.
Monday: the week goes on the calendar
Maya writes three posts in the composer, picks Instagram, TikTok and X for each one and gives them a date. Unfinished ones sit in Drafts with their copy, media and channels intact. A job on the server sends the scheduled ones at the time she set, so her laptop can be shut.
Tuesday: a brand email becomes an opportunity
Fable & Oak write to the Gmail address Maya has always used. That mailbox is connected to Herd, so she reads and replies inside the app, then pushes the thread into her Opportunities queue where it shows who sent it, what they are asking for and what it pays.
Wednesday: a proposal, then a signed contract
She builds a proposal from packages already priced on her rate card, so the numbers match what Fable & Oak can see on her media kit. They accept it inside their own Herd account. The contract is pre-filled from the deal and signed in the browser. Proposals and contracts are on Pro.
Thursday: the call happens inside Herd
A call with video, screen share and chat, on servers Herd runs itself. The brand contact joins from a link with no account and no download. If the call was recorded, the transcript stays with the meeting and the follow-ups are listed against it.
Friday: deliver, then invoice
The deliverables and their due dates live on the deal, so ticking them off is not a separate spreadsheet. The invoice is raised from that same deal and sent with a Stripe pay link, rather than a PDF and a sort code.
The following Tuesday: the money lands
Fable & Oak pay the invoice by card. The payment goes into Maya’s own Stripe account and out to her own bank on Stripe’s normal schedule. There is no Herd wallet in between, and Herd takes no percentage of a brand-to-creator invoice payment.
Each of those steps has its own screen in the app. The rest of this page shows them.
Content and publishing
Write the post once, pick the channels, let Herd send it
Four networks connect through their own logins: Instagram Business accounts, Facebook Pages, TikTok and X. The content creator tools sit in the same account as the deals and the invoices, so a post and the deal it belongs to are not two separate subscriptions.
- A month and week view of everything published, scheduled or still waiting on you.
- Drafts hold the copy, the media and the networks you picked until you set a time.
- Scheduled posts are sent by a cron job on the server, so nothing depends on your laptop being open.
- Assets upload once and are reused across posts, deliverables and the video editor.
- Trim, caption and grade a video in the browser. The export renders on the server, and Add to a Post drops the finished file into the composer.
Free covers the calendar, drafts and one watermarked export a month. Publishing starts on Starter, with two connected accounts and five exports. Pro removes both limits.
Inbox and opportunities
Your own mailbox, sitting next to the deal
Connect the Gmail or Outlook account brands already write to. It is your mailbox, not a copy of it, so replies land where they always have and nothing is forwarded anywhere.
- Read a thread, reply, write a new message and attach a file from your assets.
- A brand approach can be pushed through to the opportunities queue and on into a deal.
- Approaches from brands and agencies land here instead of sinking down a mailbox.
- Each one shows who sent it, what they are asking for and what it pays.
- Accept and it becomes a deal in the pipeline with the details already filled in.
Inbox and Opportunities start on Starter. Herd does not find deals for you. It stops the ones you already have from sinking down a mailbox.
Deals, proposals and contracts
One deal, three sides, one record
Most people arrive wanting a brand deal tracker. This is one, with the paperwork and the payment attached to the same record. Stages run Outreach, Negotiating, Contracted, In Progress and Complete.
- Stages run from first conversation through to delivered and paid.
- Deliverables and their due dates sit on the deal rather than in a separate spreadsheet.
- A creator deal can be linked to the brand or the agency behind it, and they see it on their own side.
- Invoices and contracts can be raised from the deal they belong to.
- Proposals are built from packages you have already priced, and the brand or agency accepts or declines inside their own account.
- Contracts start from a template or are pre-filled from the deal, are signed in the browser, and record amendments against the original.
Free gives one draft deal that cannot be activated. Starter runs five active deals at a time. Proposals and contracts with e-signature are on Pro at £299 a month.
Meetings
Hold the call without sending anyone a third link
Video calls run on servers Herd hosts itself, with screen share and in-call chat. The meeting sits in the same list as the ones you booked in Gmail or Outlook.
- Video, screen sharing and in-call chat run on servers Herd hosts itself.
- Guests join from a link. A brand contact does not need a Herd account to be on the call.
- Scheduling a meeting sends a calendar invite by email.
- Gmail and Microsoft calendars sync in, so meetings booked elsewhere appear in the same list.
- A recorded meeting can be transcribed afterwards, with the follow-ups listed against it.
Meetings are on Starter and Pro. A brand contact never needs a Herd account to be on a call with you.
Media kit and public profile
A media kit that is current because it is live
The media kit tool and the public profile are the same thing. Claim a username and it is at herduk.co.uk/yourname. You send a link, not a PDF, so there is no re-export every time a follower count changes.
- Choose the sections, write the copy and publish when you are happy with it.
- Follower counts and engagement come from the social accounts you connected.
- You send a link, not a PDF, so there is no re-export every time a number changes.
- It shows only the sections you chose to publish, and publishing is a separate, deliberate step.
- Your rate card holds each package with its price and what it includes, and you decide who is allowed to see it.
Media kit, public profile and rate card are on Starter and Pro. It is a page a brand reads before booking you, not a page of buttons.
Invoices and payment
Send the invoice, get paid by card
Creator invoicing software usually arrives as its own subscription with its own login. This one starts from the deal you already have open. The brand gets a link and pays by card through Stripe, which is easier to chase than a bank transfer someone meant to do.
- Raise an invoice from a deal or start a fresh one.
- The brand gets a link and pays by card through Stripe.
- The money goes to your own Stripe account and out to your own bank.
- Herd takes no percentage of an invoice payment.
- Stripe Connect onboarding happens inside Herd and payouts follow Stripe’s normal schedule into the bank account you gave Stripe.
Free previews an invoice without sending it. Sending, and getting paid by card through Stripe, starts on Starter. Stripe charges its own processing fee on a card payment, as it would anywhere.
Financials
Revenue, expenses, cashflow and the tax view in one place
The Finance Hub is built from the invoices and expenses already in your account, so nothing is typed in twice. Tabs for revenue, invoicing, expenses, cashflow and tax and VAT.
- Log a cost, attach the receipt, and the file is stored encrypted against the entry.
- Expenses feed the profit figure and the tax view, with a tax-ready export for whoever does your return.
- A cashflow view next to the invoices and expenses it draws on.
- Sell a preset pack, a guide or a template as a digital product, or charge a recurring membership fee, through your own Stripe account.
- The platform fee is 5% on a digital product sale and a small percentage on membership payments. On a brand-to-creator invoice payment it is 0%.
Expenses, digital products, memberships, the Payments page and the cashflow and tax tabs are on Pro at £299 a month. Getting paid by card on an invoice starts on Starter.
Straight answers
What Herd is not
Cheaper for both of us if you find this out now rather than three weeks in.
Not a link-in-bio tool
There is a public profile at herduk.co.uk/yourname, and it is a media kit a brand reads rather than a page of buttons pointing somewhere else. If the link page is the business, something built around it will serve you better.
Read how Herd compares with BeaconsNot a storefront or a course platform
Pro sells digital products and memberships through your own Stripe account, and that is all. There is no course builder, no upsell funnel and no storefront theme to choose.
Not a booking page for sponsorships
Brands cannot browse live availability and book a slot from your profile. A brand approaches you, it lands in Opportunities, and you turn it into a deal. That is the flow Herd is built for.
Read how Herd compares with PassionfrootNot publishing everywhere
Four networks are live: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and X. LinkedIn, Pinterest, Threads, Snapchat and Twitch are not, so they are not on the list.
Not a lead source
Herd does not sell you brand deals and does not promise you any. Brands on Herd can search creators and send campaign invitations, and inbound approaches land in your queue, but nobody is matching you to anyone.
The free plan is for having a look
You get the calendar, drafts, one draft deal, an invoice preview, the community and one watermarked export a month, with seven days of history. You cannot activate that deal or send that invoice until Starter.
Storage
Storage your way
Video is the part that gets expensive. There are two ways to handle it and neither locks the files up.
Your own Google Drive, free
Connect the Drive account you already pay for, or already have for nothing, and Herd stores your media there. The files stay in an account you own, and they are still yours if you leave.
Herd storage, from £9 a month
250 GB is £9 a month, 1 TB is £19 and 5 TB is £59. It is an add-on rather than a plan upgrade, so it does not change what your plan can do.
Either way, media is served to posts, media kits and deliverables through signed links rather than public URLs.
Creator pricing
Three plans, priced in pounds
Free does not expire and needs no card. Starter sends invoices your clients pay by card through Stripe. Pro adds contracts, expenses, products and the Payments page. Annual billing takes 17% off either.

Creator questions
Questions creators ask before signing up
The limits, including the ones that cost money. Where the answer is no, it says no.
- No. The Free plan lets you build and preview an invoice, but sending one with a Stripe pay link starts on Starter at £99 a month. From Starter, your client pays by card and Stripe pays the money out to your own bank account.
- You send an invoice with a Stripe pay link and the brand pays it by card. The money goes into your own Stripe account and out to your own bank. Herd never holds your money and takes no percentage of an invoice payment.
- No. The platform fee on a brand-to-creator invoice payment is 0%. The only percentage Herd takes is 5% on a digital product sale, plus a small fee on membership payments. Stripe charges its own processing fee on top, as it would anywhere.
- Starter is £99 a month and gives you five active deals, invoices your clients pay by card through Stripe with payouts to your own bank, the Gmail or Outlook inbox, meetings, the media kit, the rate card and two social accounts. Pro is £299 and removes the limits, then adds contracts, proposals, expenses, digital products, memberships, the Payments page with your Stripe balance and payout history, the asset library and the tax and cashflow tabs.
- Yes. Contracts with e-signature are on Pro at £299 a month, along with proposals, expenses, digital products, memberships and the Payments page. Starter covers deals, invoices your clients pay by card through Stripe, the inbox, meetings, the media kit and the rate card.
- Yes, from Starter upwards. You connect your real Gmail or Outlook account and read, reply, compose and attach files inside Herd. It is your mailbox, not a copy, so replies land where they always have.
- Yes, along with Instagram and Facebook. Starter includes two connected accounts and Pro is unlimited. The Free plan has no social integrations, so publishing starts on Starter.
- At herduk.co.uk/yourname, once you claim a username and publish it. The follower and engagement figures come from the social accounts you have connected, so the page is current without you re-exporting a PDF. Publishing is a deliberate step, so nothing goes public by accident.
- Yes. You trim, caption and grade in the browser, and the final file is rendered on the server so a long export does not tie up your machine. "Add to a Post" drops it straight into the composer. Free gives one watermarked export a month, Starter gives five without a watermark, and Pro is unlimited.
- Not through a matching service, and we do not promise leads. Brands on Herd can search creators and send campaign invitations, and any inbound approach lands in your opportunities queue where you can accept it, decline it or turn it into a deal.
