For agencies

Talent management software for your whole roster

Herd is influencer talent management software from a UK company, for agencies that represent creators. The roster you look after, the brands you pitch to, the deals and contracts you paper on a creator’s behalf, the commission you are owed and the client portal each brand opens all sit in one account, priced in pounds.

£1,999 a month, or £19,190 a year, with a 14-day cooling-off period once you subscribe. Ready now? Sign up and subscribe.

One deal, three sides

One routed deal, read three ways

Maya Chen is on your roster. Fable & Oak want one Reel and three Stories for their autumn range. You route the deal to her, draft the contract on her behalf and invoice the brand for £1,250.

There is one record, not three. Maya opens it and sees the brief and the contract she signed. Fable & Oak open it and see the same brief and a card payment. You open it and see the deal value, your 20% commission of £250, and what leaves for Maya.

When the brand pays, Stripe Connect moves your £250 out of that payment. Nobody re-types a figure into a spreadsheet, and nobody emails you asking for a copy of the contract.

  • The creator signs the contract you drafted, in her own account.
  • The brand pays the invoice by card, and the payment is recorded against the deal.
  • Your commission comes out of that payment rather than an invoice you send afterwards.
  • If the brand is not on Herd they pay from the same link, and the deal is marked as settled off-platform.

The week, in six screens

Six things an agency does every week

Nothing below is on a roadmap. It is what the Agency plan does today, in the product’s own words.

Roster and discovery

The creators you represent, and the ones you want next

My Creators is the roster: everyone you represent, with their live deals, campaigns and paperwork attached to the name rather than scattered across folders. You act for a creator from your own login instead of borrowing theirs.

The Discover tab is where the next signing comes from. It searches creators already on Herd and an external index of more than 300 million public profiles by niche, platform and audience size. You reveal contact details on the profiles you want, one at a time, and outreach goes from the agency’s own connected Gmail or Outlook mailbox, so replies come back to you rather than to us.

  • No cap on how many creators you represent
  • Contact details revealed on demand, not exported in bulk
  • A revealed profile stays on file, so you never reveal the same one twice
  • Outreach sent from your mailbox, with your signature on it

Pipeline

Every deal across every creator, on one board

The deals you are managing for your creators sit in one pipeline with five stages: Outreach, Negotiating, Contracted, In Progress and Complete. One board for the roster, not one board per creator.

Each card carries the creator, the brand, the value and the split, so a Monday review is a scroll rather than a search. One campaign can cover several creators at once, with deliverables and deadlines tracked per creator, and a brand on Herd sees the same campaign from their side.

  • Five stages, named the way the product names them
  • Proposals and contracts raised from the deal they belong to
  • Campaigns that span several creators from the roster
  • The creator, the brand, the value and the split on every card

Commissions and payouts

What you are owed on each routed deal, and how it reaches you

Set a default commission rate for the agency and each line works itself out: creator, deal, deal value, rate, commission, record state, payout state. Approve a commission and Stripe Connect transfers it when the brand pays the routed invoice.

A deal settled outside Herd is marked as such rather than going quietly missing, and an invoice still waiting says so. Every line shows its record state and its payout state, which is usually what your accountant asks about first.

  • Commission taken out of the payment, not chased after it
  • Money settles into the agency’s own Stripe account and bank
  • Payout states: transferred, scheduled, awaiting invoice payment, settled off-platform
  • Financial controls decide who on the team can see or approve any of it

Client portals

A portal with your name on it, not ours

Give each brand client a private link that shows the campaigns you choose: progress, the content waiting on their approval, and nothing else from your account. It carries the agency name and your accent colour, and approvals come back against the campaign they belong to.

Access is a token link, so the client needs no account and nobody resets a password at six on a Friday. Links are labelled per client and revoked one at a time. To be exact about what white-label means here: the branding is yours, the address is still a Herd link.

  • You choose which campaigns each portal can see
  • Approvals and change requests land against the campaign
  • No account and no shared password for the client
  • Revoke one link without touching the others

Paperwork on behalf of creators

Proposals and contracts you raise for them

Send a brand a proposal with priced packages in the creator’s name. The brand accepts or declines it inside their own account rather than in a reply you have to interpret, and an accepted package becomes a deal.

Contracts start from a template or pre-fill from the deal, go out for signature and come back signed by both sides in the browser. An amendment is recorded against the original rather than replacing it. The creator can see the paperwork that carries their name, because it is their name on it.

  • Priced packages, accepted or declined on the record
  • E-signature in the browser, both parties, dated
  • Contracts pre-filled from the deal they belong to
  • The invoice raised from that same deal when the work lands

Team, inbox and meetings

The rest of the day job, on the same login

Managers are invited by email and accept from a link. Roles cover creators, brands, deals and money separately, so a junior manager can run a pipeline without seeing a payout, and every change lands in the activity log with a name and a time on it.

Connect the agency’s own Gmail or Outlook account and run brand conversations inside Herd. Video meetings run on Herd’s own servers with screen share and chat, and a brand contact joins from a link without an account. Gmail and Microsoft calendars sync in, so a call booked elsewhere appears in the same list. The video studio and the shared asset library are on the same login, for the weeks you are cutting the deliverable yourself.

  • Email invitations, a role per member, an activity log of every change
  • Your own mailbox, not a forwarding address we invented
  • Guests join a meeting from a link with no account
  • Video studio and shared asset library included

Built for UK agencies

Priced, paid and governed in the UK

Most talent management software is priced in dollars and written for a US manager. Herd comes from a UK company and is priced for UK agencies, and the finance side is built that way.

  • Priced in pounds

£1,999 a month, or £19,190 a year for the same thing at 20% less. VAT is added where applicable. No currency conversion on the subscription and no quarterly minimum to commit to.

  • A UK company

Herd UK Ltd is registered in England and Wales. Terms and contracts are governed by the law of England and Wales, and data is handled under UK GDPR.

  • Invoicing and financials together

Raise the invoice from the deal it belongs to, take the payment by card through Stripe, and read what has been invoiced, collected and transferred, and which commission is earned, scheduled or still unfunded, across the whole agency rather than one creator at a time.

  • Reports your accountant can open

Reports export to CSV from the same account as the invoices and the commission ledger, so month end is a download rather than a reconciliation. Herd does not file anything with HMRC for you, and does not pretend to.

Honest comparison

Where Herd wins, and where it does not

Two products come up almost every time an agency shortlists Herd. Here is what we would say about them on a call.

Herd and Kitly Business

The cheaper roster tool, listed at $99 a month for 25 creators, and strong on reporting and audited media kits. It does not process payments, so commission and payouts happen in another system and get reconciled by hand. There is no brand side either, so an invitation cannot go out and come back on the same record.

Herd and July

Talent management software built for US managers, and for a small roster it costs a fraction of Herd: from $50 a month plus $6 per creator, billed quarterly, in dollars. There is no creator-facing product and no brand side, so your creators cannot run their own publishing, inbox and invoices alongside you.

Read the full Herd and July comparison

Neither of them runs the creator’s own publishing or inbox. That is the part agencies underestimate. The creator still needs somewhere to plan posts, answer brands and raise an invoice, and if it is not the same system as yours, the two of you are back to email attachments.

Where Herd is the weaker choice

  • There is no automation engine

Scheduled publishing and automated reminders are real. A workflow builder that fires a sequence of actions is not, and we will not put one on a feature grid until it exists.

  • Discovery is search, not audience analytics

You can search 300 million public profiles by niche, platform and audience size, and reveal contact details. You cannot break an audience down the way a dedicated analytics tool does. If your pitch decks live on audience demographics, look at Modash alongside Herd.

  • There is no public API

Herd will not feed your data warehouse. Reports export to CSV, and that is the extent of it today.

  • A five-creator shop should not pay £1,999

The Agency plan is priced for a roster where the commission on one routed deal covers a decent part of the month. Below that, a per-creator tool is the honest answer.
