For brands

Run influencer marketing campaigns without the spreadsheet

Herd is a UK influencer marketing platform for the brand side of a creator campaign. Find creators, brief them, approve what comes back, sign the contract and pay the invoice, on one record the creator is looking at from their side.

One record, five stages

From brief to paid, on one record

Creator campaign management in Herd runs on one record. The campaign holds the brief, the deal holds the terms, the contract holds the signature and the invoice holds the money. Nothing is typed twice, and the creator sees the same record from their own account.

  1. Find

Find Creators searches the creators who are on Herd by niche, platform and budget per post, and scores the results on engagement, safety and how complete the profile is. Save the ones worth a conversation to a list of up to 500.

  2. Invite

A campaign holds the brief, the budget, the deliverables and the dates. Invite a creator and the invitation lands in their own account. When they accept, the deal exists on both sides with the terms already filled in.

  3. Contract

Send a contract from the deal it belongs to, pre-filled or started from a template, and the creator signs it in the browser. Amendments are recorded against the original rather than replacing it.

  4. Review

Deliverables arrive in Content Review against the item they belong to. Approve them, or send them back with a note the creator reads on their side. Every approval is dated.

  5. Pay

The creator sends an invoice with a pay link. You pay it by card through Herd and the money goes straight to the creator, because Herd adds no percentage to a brand-to-creator invoice payment.

Find Creators

Search the creators who are already on Herd

Filters are niche, platform and budget per post, with a keyword search across names and niches. Only creators who share their rates are matched by budget, so the budget filter narrows rather than guesses. Results are scored on engagement, safety and how complete the profile is: a set of rules you can read, not a matching model.

  • Save up to 500 creators to your lists on the Brand plan
  • Invite a saved creator straight into a campaign
  • Each card shows total reach, average engagement and the rate per post
  • A creator CRM keeps status, history and notes on the creator record

This searches creators with a Herd account. It is not a 380 million profile index and it has no audience-demographics filter. Agencies get a separate external index, described on the page for agencies.

Campaigns and content review

The brief, the deliverables and the approvals, on a record both sides share

A campaign carries the brief, the budget, the deliverable list and the dates. Invitations go to creators on Herd and land in their own account, and an accepted invitation creates the deal on both sides with the terms already filled in. Creator statuses run from invited to accepted, active and completed, so you can see who has not replied.

  • 25 active campaigns on the Brand plan, with no cap on the ones you have finished
  • Deliverables move through not started, in progress, awaiting review, changes requested, approved and posted
  • Content Review holds what a creator submits, to approve or return with a comment
  • Product Seeding records what you shipped and who acknowledged it, up to 100 products

One deal is read three ways. You see the campaign, the creator sees the brief and the invoice in their own pipeline, and an agency in the middle sees the commission on the same £1,250. Deadlines and approvals sit against the campaign rather than in an email thread, and every approval is dated and attributed.

Contracts and payments

Sign the paperwork and pay the invoice on the same record

Contracts start from a template or are pre-filled from the deal, and the creator signs in the browser. Each one shows where it is, from drafted to waiting for a signature to signed. Proposals a creator or an agency sends you arrive in the same place, to accept or decline.

How paying works

  1. A creator sends you an invoice for a deal or campaign.
  2. Pay opens a Stripe checkout; funds go to the creator’s account.
  3. The invoice is marked paid automatically and the creator is notified.

Herd adds no percentage to a brand-to-creator invoice payment. There is no Herd wallet in between, and Stripe charges its own processing fee as it would anywhere.

Team, agencies and reporting

The people around the campaign, and what you can take away

An influencer management platform for UK brands has to let the rest of the marketing team in, and cannot leave out the agencies you already work with.

  • Ten seats, with roles

The Brand plan includes ten team seats at no extra cost per seat. You invite colleagues by email, they set their own password, and each one gets a role that decides what they can see and change.

  • An activity log, not a memory

A dated record of what changed in the account and who changed it. Useful when a campaign has passed through three people and someone asks when the brief changed.

  • The agencies in the middle

Find agencies on Herd and send a connection request, or accept one they send you. Once you are connected, deals, proposals and contracts can run through the agency rather than around it.

  • CSV, then your own deck

Herd gives you CSV exports of campaign data, alongside the activity log. There is no attribution model and no ROI dashboard. The numbers go into the spreadsheet your team already reports from.

Inbox and meetings

Talk to creators without leaving the campaign

Connect the Gmail or Outlook mailbox you already use and read, reply, compose and attach inside Herd. It is your mailbox, not a copy, so replies land where they always have and a colleague can pick up a thread.

  • Video meetings with screen share and chat, run on Herd’s own servers
  • A creator or a colleague can join from a link without an account
  • Gmail and Microsoft calendars sync in, so meetings booked elsewhere appear in the same list
  • Notes and action items are kept against the meeting

Herd does not run outreach sequences or send email on your behalf. It is your mailbox, used by hand.

Honest limits

Where Herd is not the right fit yet

Two jobs Herd does not do. If either one is the reason you are shopping, buy the tool that does it.

You need a database of 380 million profiles

Herd searches creators who have an account on Herd. If the job is filtering a very large index by audience location and age, or running fake-follower checks before you approach anyone, a discovery tool does that and Herd does not.

Modash and HypeAuditor are the usual choices here.

You run a Shopify affiliate programme at scale

Herd has no affiliate links, no discount codes and no order-level attribution back to a creator. If gifting and affiliate revenue at volume is the programme, that is a different kind of tool.

GRIN is built for exactly that job.
